Ballan Brumbies Parade at the Ballan Autumn Festival: Celebrating Community and Growth

The Ballan Autumn Festival (BAF) is an annual event that celebrates the coming of autumn in the town of Ballan, Australia. The festival features a parade that showcases different sports and community groups in the area. This year's parade was a success, with just under 20 people from the Ballan Brumbies basketball team participating.

One of the highlights of the parade was the surprise horse costume worn by one of the Brumbies team members. The costume represented the Brumbies mascot, which added an extra touch of excitement to the parade. It was great to see a range of participants in the parade, from young children to coaches.

The Ballan Brumbies basketball team has been making waves in the community, with over 160 kids and 17 teams, only five years after it started. Many spectators commented that they were not aware that Ballan had a basketball team. The commentator mentioned during the parade that the Ballan Brumbies were the fastest growing sports team in the area, highlighting the team's remarkable growth and achievements.

The parade was not only a showcase of sports teams and community groups but also a celebration of community and growth. It was heartening to see so many people come together to celebrate the town and its people. The parade was a reminder that even in small towns, there is an abundance of talent and potential waiting to be discovered.

The Ballan Brumbies parade at the Ballan Autumn Festival was a success, not just for the basketball team, but for the community as a whole. The parade was a testament to the town's spirit of cooperation and growth, and it was a joy to see everyone come together to celebrate. The event showed that even in small towns, there is much to be proud of and much to look forward to in the future.
